Garden Ramble Success

Our inaugural Spring Garden Ramble was a big hit – despite the weather not playing ball! We had an excellent turnout and our residents really helped showcase the heart and soul of our Village.

Members of the public and residents were treated to a wonderful display by our village marching team The Lifestylers. This dedicated group practices twice a week and participate in marching displays across the North Island. We were all suitably impressed by their skills! Next year Tauranga is hosting the North Island Leisure Marching Championship and OCE will be a main sponsor. We can’t wait to see what The Lifestylers have in store for us then.

Our e-bike display was another Garden Ramble highlight and lots of people enjoyed a ride around our village grounds to get a feel for this new innovation.

A big thank you to all residents who contributed delicious baking and food platters on the day. Serving home-made treats really added that extra special touch and contributed to the warm and friendly atmosphere on the day.

Finally, the winner of our spot prize of dinner for two at Somerset Cottage was Ann and John Carlyle. Congratulations!
