Meet Jim and Wendy Sullivan

It’s a big step to leave behind a home you’ve lived in for almost 50 years, but Jim and Wendy Sullivan are excited about their move to Omokoroa Country Estate.

The pair appreciate the very warm welcome they’ve received since moving here from Titirangi. They initially investigated retirement village options around Warkworth and Mount Maunganui before Omokoroa caught their eye.

They immediately loved the mature trees and garden setting, and knew they didn’t want to be looking at rows and rows of houses. After visiting 12 different potential villages, OCE ticked all their boxes!

Jim is a former electrician and spent 30 years working as an electrical and maintenance engineer at Auckland Hospital. Wendy enjoyed a successful hairdressing career and now loves to play golf, while Jim prefers water sports such as kayaking and fishing.

Their son lives in Auckland and is very happy at the prospect of holidaying in Omokoroa in the years to come. The Sullivans are very happy with their choice of location.
